At present, one of the most issues in the world is the waste. According to a research* in 2008 the average person generates 4.3 pounds (1.95 kg) of waste per day. This is 1.6 pounds more than most produced back in 1960. And the cost of only waste food in the UK is about £ 12 billion per year! Tehran, Capital of Iran, surrounded by mountains in north and semi-desert in south. This city was appropriate for about 3 million people but more than 10 million people live there now. Heavy traffic, Air pollution and drought are the main problems of Tehran. Also this city clearly suffers from producing excessive waste, too. This incomplete project features how Tehran is going to been hidden/buried by waste. Unfortunately, I had to leave Iran therefore I could not finish this project. However you can especially realise in north of Tehran, which is the most expensive area of the city that I chose for taking photographs, that everywhere is in some way polluted and made ugly by rubbish and waste even close to luxury building. In other parts of Tehran there is the same condition.
