Anytime I think about photography I attempt to find an answer for this question: What makes a photograph a photograph? And for this reason I have tried to understand aspects or structure of a photograph. In my opinion form and composition is more important than content, although we can not completely make them separate.
Content is what an artwork is about or what the subject of that is (especially in photography) It has been said content features the subject of a photograph and form is the reference to the style and technique and how use these things. Therefore as a photographer I think form shows the quality of the artist and form, more than content, is related to art. For example we have two photographs of the same time and the same place and same light. Thus they have a same content of subject, however one photograph is a high quality in the aesthetic judgment/parameters because one of them usually has a better composition and form.
In this project my purpose was ignoring the content/subject and more noticing to form/composition. I know any photograph has a content/subject but you can make that unimportant by emphasizing form. I think it is the separation point of raw documentary photography and photography as an Art.
